For chemistry, I have to explain how Nikola Tesla pertained to chemistry… and I honestly can’t think of how to tie what he did to chemistry in any way… Help?

Well, his work on electricity pertains more to physics. But, his work on electromagnetic radiation form the basis for a couple of chemistry instruments.
Tesla worked a lot on XRays and they are used to do XRay crystallography, which is used to determine the 3-D chemical structure of macromolecules like proteins.
Electromagnetic radiation is also integral to Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) which is used to look at molecular dynamics in chemistry….
